    Maybe not many.. but the pulp-fiction style is having a modest return. The "HARD CASE CRIME" is exploring that in recent novels. Eg. Later| Joyland | Colorado Kid ..all by Stephen King.

    I love the Mickie Spillaine covers (and books). Hammer introducing his secretary to someone: "Velda... is big and she's beautiful, and she's got a brain that can figure angles while mine only figures the curves."
