IN recent times there was a guy born in the 1950s, was the son of an ambassador or something related to that... and he lost his citizenship, after 70 years... I thought it was Trump testing Amendment 14's Birthright Citizenship deal... The important part of the Amendment says...

After the statement "All persons born or naturalized in the United States" there is a comma a,d after that comma there is an additional statement... "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof"... and this is the important part.

The case I was talking about the Supreme court ruled on it recently...and this is what made me think this was done by Trump to fire a shot across the the bow of Birthright Citizenship...

Why aren't Ambassador children born in the US not citizens... The case they ruled on was not an Ambassador but rather he worked in the Embassy in some manner and as a result this that 70++ YO lost his citizenship... His parents are subject to the country the Embassy is attached to.

When you come to the country legally and are put through the riggers of Naturalizing you'll be vetted and swear allegiance to the Constitution and the Country itself.

It is this statement that they are putting their arguments on... If it was just as simple as the Democrats are saying they would not have added that comma and put "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" That means something and the Supreme court should rule in Trump's favor.
