What is all of this? A base64-encoded image?
Many of us are using text-based message readers (either online or offline) and won't be able to see the message directly if it's posted this way.

    Yup, exactly what it is.

I downloaded the message with Mystic and then converted that text to a .JPG which you can view here:

Hi Nightfox! Yeah, a Base64 encoded image... we are in the test echo, after
all ;) I was testing if I could pass my eclipse pics without "corruption"
of any kind, using an FTN as a medium... it worked! haha... of course I
always use a BBS for reading echoes, so I uploaded a .txt with the base64 encoding.

    Bye!!

    That's cool. :)

I noticed that Synchronet added some handling for file attachments on messages a couple years ago. Synchronet has a built-in mechanism now for allowing users to download attachments from messages. I'm not sure if it allows file attachments on public messages in its echo areas though; it might only be for private email, but I'm not sure.
