This is a part from the Greek retro gaming community. Its a durable "pacman joystick" that developed and produced by two guys in Greece.

It may seem simple for today standards, but when it came out it was
something great, mainly for its durability as this kind of controllers, the pacman style, they`re used very hard and often times broke.

I dont think that this joystick sold outside Greece but here, it was
comperable with many imported ones.

Techwise doesn't look muych different than Competition Pro, which I already have both as DB9 and USB version.. and I don't much like it.

When I play on DB9 compatible Josticks I always prefer to play with my old QuickShot Python joystick, favouring it for responsiveness and silence!

I'd love to see some new replicas or analogical joysticks like Python on the market. This one looks like something carved from arcade system using a chainsaw...

You are right in both cases. This joystick is a crude replicate of other similar joysticks. What makes it "special" from a retro perspective, is that the makers were a) amateurs, just users who loved to play games b) it was build back in the 90s, in the kitchen of the two brothers who made it c) it was build by easily found materials. The box, in the beginning was an electrical box d) It was sold, like a strong and durable joystick that could withstand anything and indeed it was :)

Indeed... i had one also, but i think i broke it and throw it off. I also remember that i had troubles with the suction cups and in many cases i would loose in a game, because it was not stable :( Good memories though :)

Well I respect the story and the effort ;) It's just I have about 10 joysticks at home already so I've become kind of picky :)
